Dr Pieter Peach

Dr Pieter Peach is the deputy director of the Melbourne Paediatric Anaesthetic Group. He is an anaesthetist with a sub-specialty interest in paediatric anaesthesia.
He completed a twelve month fellowship in paediatric anaesthesia and six months post-fellowship training in paediatric intensive care at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne.
He also works regularly as a visiting anaesthetist at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, St Vincent’s Mercy Hospital, and Cabrini Health where he is Deputy Director of the Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Management.
His practice consists predominantly of anaesthesia for:
- Adult and paediatric ear nose and throat surgery
- Adult and paediatric orthopaedic surgery
- Adult neurosurgery
- General paediatric surgery
- Obstetrics
- Complex paediatric and adult spine surgery
- Urology
- Plastic surgery
- Adult and paediatric opthalmology
Paediatric surgeons he works with include Mr Gary Nattrass, Mr Michael Johnson, Dr Jennifer Wheatley, Mr James Elder and Dr Caroline Ryan.
He has an interest in exploring the role of emerging digital technologies in the improvement of the patient experience and quality of care.
